Thesis: The Praxis series tests are a set of exams designed to test the qualifications of a future educator. Praxis tests share a similar structure to most standardized tests and passing requirements vary from state to state.

Paragraph 1:
         Opening: there are 2 test in the praxis series taken at different          points during the path to becoming an educator
                  Detail 1: the first test praxis 1 is a gen ed skills.
                  Detail 3: the praxis 1 is taken before taking educator's classes.
                  Detail 2: the praxis 2 are a set of test on course specific          subjects
                  Detail 4: the praxis 2 is taken after completing all course requirements.

        Opening: The structure of the test is similar to most standardized test.
                Detail 1: It is made up of primarily multiple choice as well as some essays
                Detail 2: the test is on a time limit.
                Detail 3: there is an option to take a digital or physical test

         Opening: the require jenga for "passing" the exam vary from state to state.
                  Detail 1: only 44 states participate.
                  Detail 2: passing requirements for the praxis 1 are less variable
                  Detail 3: the passing score and required test for the praxis 2 are generally different in all states.

What I Need To Know: Essay 1

• The differences between working in private and public education
• A solid idea of my projected financial position.
• Anything certification wise I will need beyond a degree.
• More details on the government regulations and mandates
• Post-grad education requirements.
• Information on the guidance side of education rather than just teaching.
• Trends in the profession, as far as shifts in curriculum and standerdized testing
• Education requierments for the diffrent levels of Education, i.e. Elementary, Middle, High, and College.
• The stability of diffrent subjects in schools at the various levels.
• Diffrent carrer paths that may open up in the longterm.

Essay 1: What I know.

     My first result is my first choice, Education.

• Your first responsibility is to your students, making sure they receive the information they need to move forward.
• The hours go well beyond the classroom
• The income is nothing to brag about
• One has tons of fun government mandates and such to fallow, things like no child left behind, common core,etc.
• you have to keep up with technology, because its always going to find its way to a classroom.

About Me

I don't have many pictures of myself... but here goes nothing.

This is a pic My friends and I took on one of our nightly outings recently. One of the most important part of my life are my friends and family, but I just refer to them all as family.

This is my guitar, it is a Gibson Les Paul. I just recently got into learning. At the moment I can impress people who don't know what they're looking at with a few power cords, but I'm not all that good, I've only been playing for 2 months.

Anyway, I dabble in extreme sports mostly free climbing anymore I used to skateboard a lot. I don't do that much anymore, I have some joint problems that make it difficult. I work at The Learning Bee, a daycare on the edge of Frederick. I'm generally about having fun and enjoying myself as much as possible.
